Crumar Mojo61 - Firmware Update

HOW TO PERFORM THE FIRMWARE UPDATE:

1. Copy the file Mojo61.upd to the root directory of a FAT32 formatted USB Thumb Drive
2. Insert the USB memory into one of the USB "host" (Type-A) ports of the Mojo61
3. Connect to the Wi-Fi Editor or to the wired USB Editor
4. In the home page of the Editor, you can read the version information,
next to there you have an "update" link, click or tap the "update" label and wait a few seconds.

If you get an error message, please double check that you have correctly copied the Mojo61.upd file onto the
root directory of your USB drive; if you still get an error, please try with a different USB drive.
Please note: you must used a FAT32 formatted drive. Use a drive not greater than 32 GB.
If you are formatting the drive from a Mac computer, make sure you're applying a FAT32 format or download
the official SDFormatter application.

After the installation of a new firmware, always check that the firmware version has changed.

Version 1.32 - July 2018
- Added: two new parameters for VB3-II in the "Other Settings" group, KeyClick Release and Bounce, that help you to adjust the amount of keyclick
that is generated when a key is released and whenever a key "bounce" is intercepted
- Added: the MIDI TX Channel selection can now be set on "TX OFF" to completely disable any messages going to the MIDI OUTPUT ports. This can be
useful in case you don't want the Messages generated by the Mojo during Local-ON are interfering with other connected MIDI devices; of course,
MIDI transmission is always active when setting the LOCAL function to OFF
- Introduced a new WIRED "Online Editor". Just connect your Mojo61 to your computer or to your mobile device using a standard USB CABLE and
  visit the website www.gsidsp.com/Mojo61
This editor is experimental and not 100% identical to the internal Wi-Fi editor, it is based on Google's WEB MIDI API and works only with
Google Chrome or Firefox and does not replace the internal Wi-Fi editor.

Version 1.31 - February 2018
- Added: New parameter for the Reed EP that adjusts the amount of resonances
- Added: The FX1 Depth parameter can now also adjust the range of the Wha-Wha effect
- Changed: Sends MIDI CC#64 events when Sustain is applied to VB3 for either upper, lower or both manuals
- Changed: the web-app editor switches to idle mode when the browser loses focus, thus reducing the battery consumption when accessing from a mobile device

Version 1.3 - December 2017
- Added: New refinements to the Rotary effect algorithm with less resonances on the high frequencies, more defined bass response and wider sense of motion;

Version 1.25 - November 2017
- Added: the optional lower manual can now send velocity according to the global settings
- Added: sends MIDI Program Change messages with values from 0 to 7 according to the Instrument selection
- Added: Clavi EP note-off is now engaged at the lower key contact, resulting in a "snappier" feel just like the real Clavinet!
- Fixed: notes playing on the lower manual could hang if the octave shift was enabled while in split mode
- Fixed: notes could hang if switching between Upper & Lower in Single MODE while playing rapid passages

Version 1.23 - July 2017
- Fixed problem that could cause the sound engine to restart while playing the acoustic piano sound
- Minor optimizations for the elecric piano sound engines

Version 1.21 - May 2017
- Changed: Clavi EP model is less inharmonic, especially on the low notes, thus better in tune
- Fixed: Clavi EP pickup positions were reported erroneously in the editor screen
- Fixed: Acoustic piano samples trimmed by +1,5 milliseconds to reduce perceived latency

Version 1.2 - April 2017
- Added: sustain pedal support for VB3, can be activated from the Global Options in the editor's home page
- Changed: traded the "Digital EP" for a Physical Modeling Clavi EP
- Added: the introduction of this new EP sound also required a new editing box in the Piano Edit page
- Added: a new Wah-Wah effect has been added to the FX1 slot in two variations: LFO and Pedal
- Changed: the dynamic response of the Acoustic Piano has been better balanced
- Changed: the overdrive level for the static Amp section has been increased a bit

Version 1.1 - November 2016
- Added: Mojo61 now features two new sounds, a "Digital EP" based on the Phase-Modulation synthesis, and a multi-sampled acoustic grand piano
- Changed: selecting between the two different combo organs and the four available pianos can now be made from the control panel by using the Preset A/B buttons (replaces old shortcuts)
- Added: each of the two combo organs and each of the four pianos now "remember" the status of their effects, allowing now to switch from a phased Tine piano to a tremulant Reed piano at the push of a button
- Added: new shortcut that allows toggling the status of the Vibrato/Chorus button related to the manual that is not selected by simply pushing the V/C ON button along with the Shift button
- Added: new shortcut that allows to cycle the instrument type from bottom to top (normally is from top to bottom) by pushing the TYPE button while SHIFT is held depressed
- Added: there are now 8 memory slot that allow to store and recall up to 8 different "snapshots" of all settings
- Changed: the wi-fi reset password button located on the back of the instrument now also performs a system restart

Version 1.04 - August 2016
- Fixed: adjusting the "Leakage" parameter of the Combo V or the Combo F engine would cause the whole engine to reset to its default values
- Fixed: Tine and Reed electric piano models could cause some unexpectedly loud pedal noise
- Fixed: CC #75 (Keyclick) was erroneously sent 3 times

Version 1.03 - June 2016
- The two Combo organs have been completely rewritten from the ground up. They now support the simulation of multiple bus-bars (4),
simulated keyclick with adjustable level from the dedicated knob, and present a list of tweaking parameters that have been arranged
in a new page that has been added to the Wi-Fi editor. The "SAVE ALL" button has been moved to the top right corner of the screen.
These two new sound engines sound even more true to the originals, have a fuller frequency spectrum, support the typical
"loudness robbing" and have a wider dynamic range
- A new global parameter has been added to the Editor home-page: Sustain Pedal. This lets you decide the function of the sustain pedal
when VB3 is selected. By default, the sustain pedal switches between slow and fast (or disengages the brake) of the Rotary Speaker
simulation. As an alternative function, it can just send the Midi CC #64 without affecting any internal function, or it can do both
operations. When this is set to process the CC #64, the Mojo61 can also receive CC #64 from an external Midi device and do exactly
what the internal sustain pedal does.
- The scaling of the volume knob has been changed so that the middle position gives a louder volume.

Version 1.02 - May 2016
- Added: global parameter that defines when to send the information of Midi note velocity
- Fixed: the TX Midi channel didn't change soon after setting it from the editor
- Fixed problem that could cause an unexpected behavior when the global tuning was different than A=440Hz

Version 1.01 - May 2016
- Added one new parameter to VB3-II: Generator Shape offers 6 more variations to the generator scalings, obtaining up to 22x7= 154 different generators
- Changed VB3-II parameter XTalk Brilliance to XTalk Shape: blends between the low-pitched (rumble) and the high-pitched (brilliance) crosstalk tones
- Added one new parameter to Reed E.P.: Release Time, slightly adjusts the release time at note-off
- Improved the way the release noises interact with the keyboard for both the Tine and the Reed E.P.
- Fixed problem with Wi-Fi password that couldn't be changed

Version 1.0 - March 2016
- First public release
